USBBY is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that relies on volunteer contributions – financial and otherwise – from individuals and organizations. Membership in USBBY is open to anyone interested in its mission.
Individual membership starts at $40 per year. Individual members receive the semiannual USBBY newsletter, may vote at the annual membership meeting, serve on committees, hold office on the Board of Directors, and may subscribe to Bookbird, the journal of IBBY.
Individual student membership is $15 per year with verification from a professor.
Institutional membership starts at $250.00 per year and is open to any institution, organization, professional membership organization, trade organization, corporation, publishing company or other business interested in USBBY's objectives. Institutional members receive the semiannual USBBY newsletter. Those who join at the Institutional Sponsor level ($500 per year) or Institutional Patron level ($1,000 per year) will receive, in addition, an individual subscription to Bookbird and a link to their website from the USBBY website.
