Folklore, as cultural narratives, enables many voices and experiences to be heard and understood. It is agentive in purpose and form. In this USBBY co-sponsored session, renowned storytellers Grace Lin and Rashin Kheiriyeh discuss how their infusion of folklore helps cultivate international and transnational understanding. Successful storytelling strategies will also be shared.
