Long-term executive director of IBBY, Liz Page, shares the following news with IBBY members:
Dear Friends
 
The years are rushing along and by the end of 2022 I will retire from my current position at IBBY. Therefore, the International Board on Books for Young People is beginning its search for a new Executive Director.
 
IBBY has grown enormously  during recent years and is now  looking to recruit someone who is engaged and ambitious to take on this stimulating position starting from late 2022.  Please share the attached job description with the members of your section and with anyone who may be interested in taking IBBY forward. The call for applications is also posted on the IBBY website at:  https://www.ibby.org/about/openings-at-ibby
 
The closing date for applications is Wednesday, 1 September 2021. Due to the high number of applications we expect to receive, interested candidates are advised to submit their applications as soon as possible.
